Observe 35thWedding AnniversaryMr. and Mrs. Edmund Greiveof Shiner were pleasantly surprised on the occasion of their 35th wedding anniversary, when their daughters, sons-in-law and grandchildren, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Tronicek, Rusty and Tracy of Shiner, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Michalec, Terry, Wendy and Kelly of Houston, hosted a supper at Sulphur Park, Saturday, May 17, 1975.A delicious meal of stew, potatoes, beans, saurkraut, corn and sweets was served with coffee and tea.The anniversary cake was a white-iced sheet confection decorated in coral and white and highlighted with a heart-shaped layer, featuring the numerals 35” and “Happy Anniversary, Mon and Dad.”aGlorine Wendel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adam Wendel of Shiner, and Edmund Greive, son of Mrs. Henry Greive of Flaton-ia and the late Mr. Greive, were married May 14, 1940 in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Moulton. Parents of the honoreeswere among those present.The evening was spent dancing and reminiscing. Upon departing, everyone wished the honored couple many more happy anniversaries.Guests came from Gonzales, La Porte, Moulton, San Antonio, Victoria, Flatonia, Shiner, Yoakum and Houston.
