The cake was topped with a gold 50.' Gold tapers in crystal holders flanked the cake.Mrs Florecne Wallace of Nevada City, Calif, sister of Mrs Hidlebaugh, cut the cake and it was served by Mrs Curl. Mrs Elsie Lewis of DeSoto, Kans, sister of Mr Hidlebaugh, served the punch and another of his sisters, Mrs Evah Nelson of Des Mines, served the coffee.The Esther Circle of the church was in charge of the reception.Mr and Mrs Lee Curl of Guthrie Center were in charge of the cards and gifts. Mr Curl is a brother of Mrs Hidlebaugh,Leta Curl and Clarence Hidlebaugh were united in marrriage June 1, 1925, in the Bayard United Methodist Church parsonage. Attendants were Olive Whitefield Anderson of Davenport and Doris Peardon Marchant of GuthrieCenter.Mr and Mrs Hidlebaugh have farmed in the Bayard-Bagley area all of their married life. Clarence is noted for his flower raising.Guests were present from DeSoto, Kan ; Denver, Colo; Afton, Okla; Nevada City, Calif; Des■ 4 ■Moines, Jefferson, Cooper, Boone, Perry, Adair, Redfield, Griswold, Guthrie Center, Panora, Scranton, Coon Rapids, Yale,Bagley and Bayard.
