All but three grandchildren attended,Mr and Mrs Ralph Curl were dining room hosts. Mr Curl is a brother of Mrs Hidlebaugh.Rick Keeran registered the guest and Jennie Hidlebaugh gave the guests thank you notes.Jim Hidlebaugh, Michele Keeran• • •« 'and Larry Greene received the cards.The serving table was covered with a gold cloth and centered.with a three tiered anniversary cake, baked by Mrs Harold Curl. The1» icake was topped with a gold SO. Gold tapers in crystal holders flanked the cake.Mrs Florecne Wallace of Nevada City, Calif, sister of Mrs Hidlebaugh, cut the cake and it was served by Mrs Curl. Mrs Elsie Lewis of DeSoto, Kans, sister of Mr Hidlebaugh, served the punch and another of his sisters, Mrs Evah Nelson of Des Mines, served thecoffee.The Esther Circle of the church was in charge of the reception.Mr and Mrs Lee Curl of Guthrie Center were in charge of the cards and gifts. Mr Curl is a brother of Mrs Hidlebaugh.Leta Curl and Clarence Hidlebaugh were united in marrriage June 1,1925, in the Bayard United Methodist Church parsonage. Attendants were Olive Whitefield Anderson of Davenport and Doris Peardon Marchant of GuthrieCenter.Mr and Mrs Hidlebaugh have farmed in the Bayard-Bagley areaJ uugcWoman to CenterDeborah Sue Nelson of Stuart has been sentenced to six months at the Northwestern Alcohol Treatment Center at Fort Dodge. She had been in the Guthrie County jail facing charges of assault with intent,A charge of larceny in the daytime brought Michael Danner, 21, of Carroll back to Guthrie county. His bail was set at $5,000. Danner had been in the custody of Carroll County and was released to Guthrie County this week. The charge against him grew out of acheck incident.Ted Underwood of Panora was arrested on a charge of public intoxication. He pleaded guilty and paid a fine of $25 and costs. Another charge of public intoxication against Ernest Beebe of Afton brought a not guilty plea. A trial was held in Magistrate Court and the man was found guilty. His fine was $40.Some heavy speeding fines were levied last week. Included wereitwo against Ronald Hollar of Guthrie Center. One of his was for $44 and the other was for $70. Vicki Hansen of Adair was arrested west of Guthrie Center and charged with speeding 90 miles an hour in a 55 zone. Her fine was $70.Other speeders were James Walter, Panora, $25; Gwen Siel-weber, Manning, $30; Ethel Scho-vel, Guthrie Center, $22; Randy Harwood, Guthrie Center, $32, and Chris Schick, Dawson, $20.Steven Edgington of Casey paid $15 for failure to yield; Bruce Richter of Coon Rapids was fined $30 for failure to have control. A charge of no chauffeur license against Richter was dropped; Donald Sloss of Guthrie Center was fined $10 for improper muffler.David Chapman of Bagley has been charged with criminal trespass. He pleaded not guilty and will appear at 1 p m June 16.
