Western Visitors.—The German Bup° tist Conference, now in session at Broadway has brought to the Valley many residents of tho Western States who formerly lived in llojkingl am, m:ny of whom are, and havo been since their removal from this county, subscribers to the Iteoister. We were glad to welcome in our oilioe on Thursday last, Mr. Ilanison lioman, who was born on Linvill’s Creek, but moved to tho West when quite a young man, and now resides in'Henry county,' Indiana. His wife,.also a uative of old Rockingham, accompanied him. Mr. Ifoman has for years been paymaster for several copies of the Register going to his county, aud came to time in a prompt manner as usual when he called.
