In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Bonnie Bell.Joyce was a graduate of Bramwell High School. She was a telephone operator for General Telephone Company Southeast, Bluefield. She was also employed by Beckley Manufacturing, Beckley for 14 years. Jpye and her hys-band, John, ‘Rick’ owned and operated Rick’s Fried Chicken in Shady Spring for 24 years. Both she and her husband was devoted in serving their patrons.Joyce is survived by her devoted husband of 48 years, Johh Kendrick Jr., Shady Spring.
