WEDDINGSGregory-CoxTammy Lee Gregory of Route 3, Burlington, and Henry Craig Cox of Route 1, Yanceyville, were united in marriage Saturday at 3 p.m. at Bethel United Church of Christ, Burlington. Dr. Kenneth Register officiated, and music was by Beverly Huffines, pianist, and Susan Busick, soloist.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman T. Gregory of Route 3, Burlington. The bridegroom is the son of Henry Cox of Burlington and Sue Ellen Cox of Route 1, Yanceyville.Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of embroidered illusion andtaffeta with a fitted bodice with lace, dropped waist with back bow, flared skirt, and chapel train. Her hip length silk illusion veil was secured to a silk floral headpiece,and she carried a silk cascade of white and pink roses and an orchid.Tracy Gregory of Burlington, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Sheila Brown of Burlington and Sherri Minor of Elon College and Melody Crumpton of Reidsville, both cousins of the bride.Kevin Cox of Burlington, cousin of the bridegroom, was best man. Ushers were Rodney Cox, brother of the bridegroom, and Ricky Wilson of Yanceyville, and Tommy Gregory of Burlington, brother of thebride.Casey Hensley of Burlington was flower girl, and ringbearer was Josh Rumley of Burlington. Bulletins were distributed by Jason King, and birdseed was distributed by Matthew Truitt of Burlington.Patricia Wilkins ofBurlington and Mary Butler of Reidsville, aunts of the/Xi-■wMrs. Craig Cox...Tammy Gregorybride, directed the wedding, and guest registrar was Denna Gregory of Reidsville, her cousin.Mr. and Mrs. Alvis King Jr, Patricia Wilkins and Mary Butler hosted a reception in the fellowship hall.The bride graduated fromWestern Alamance High School and Rockingham Community College, Wentworth, with an associate’s degree in nursing. She is a registered nurse at Annie Penn Memorial Hospital, Reidsville.The bridegroom graduated from Bartlett Yancey Senior High School and is a machine operator with GKN Automotive Components, Mebane.The newlyweds will reside on Route 3, Burlington.
