MR. AND MRS. MANUEL SALAZAR of Fort Madison will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on June 11 with a mass at 8 a.m., a breakfast following the mass at the L.U.L.A.C. Club and a dinner and reception at noon at the club. Esiquia Mendez and Manuel Salazar were married June 11, 1923 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Fort Madison. The couple have belonged to the Sacred Heart Church all of their married lives. Manuel Salazar is a retired Santa Fe employee. The couple have seven children, Santiago of Sacramento, Calif.. Jose of Yuba City, Calif., Brijido of Chicago, 111.. Mrs. Leo (Lucy) Prado of Fort Madison, Mrs. Joseph (Angelita) Juarez of Chicago, 111., Mrs. Frank (Aurelia) Martinez and Mrs. Gabriel (Rachel) Martinez, both of Fort Madison.
