'Funeral Services.The remains of Mr. John Montague, whose sad and sudden death was mentioned in the Evening Gazette of yesterday, arrived in Rock Falls last evening, on the C. B. Cj. passenger. The funeral services were held this Bt-teraoon at two o’clock, at the Rock Falls M. E. church, Rev. A. H. Miller conducting them* The burial was conducted under the rites of Odd-Fellow-ship, Advance lodge, No. 590, of Rock Falls, having charge. The remains were interred in Odd-Fellows’ cemetery at Rock Falls. The deceased had, we are informed, an insurance on his life of five thousand dollars.
