The exercises there eonsistod of singing, reading' i from the Grand Army Ritural by Mr. y Frank Wells, and prayer by Mr. John j (t. Borden. Flowers were then placed ] upon the soldier1!* groves and the children { singing as they marched, returned to the school house—■where long tables had been spread, and loaded with cake; ice cream and lemonade was added to the bill of fare, and the children did full justice lt;o tlio good tilings provided. When the entertainment was over there was more singing alter which the children dispersed quietly to their homes.In the afternoon eight or ten of the old veterans proceeded to the Mill town cemetery, where the graves of all comrades were decorated, returning here a large basket of flowers was placed in the wagon and a visit to the cemetery at Somers was made and the grave of Sanford Ivcynolds was strewn with garlands of remembrance. The graves at the Drew Cemetery were also decorat-ed by a detachment of veterans.— —-----—------1]
