Couple to be Honored At “Open House” for 50th Wedding DateAll are cordially invited tq attend an open house for Mr. and Mrs. Thurston Jones of RD 3, Wellsboro, honoring them on their 50th wedding anniversary, The special celebration will be held at the Charleston Baptist Church on Saturday. June 13th from 2 to 6 p.m.Mable Lovell and Thurston Jones were united in marriage at her home on RD 3 on June 10, 1931, by the late Rev. Denver Chapman, pastor of the Charleston Baptist Church. They were attended by Genevieve Smithand Emmett Jones They have lived in Charleston all their livesThey are the parents of five children: Thurston L. Jones of West Bend, Wisconsin, Mrs. Lewis (Gladys) Fisher of Wellsboro, Rev, Richard G. Jones of Wilmot, Nova Scotia, Rev Llewellyn E, Jones of Moscow, Pa. and Mrs. Charles (Peggy) Hill of Denver, Colorado.They have 31 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.Come and join us for this joyful occasion Please omit gifts
