Those present included Mrs. Elden Hamblett and Mrs. Moretti, Lyle Parker and grandson, Mrs. Nellie Lindberg, and Mrs. Ixmnie Barr.Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Durst entertained a group of church members and friends at an outdoor barbecue Sunday night.Mr. and Mrs. Fred Barger of Palo Alto and Mr. and Mrs. Stan Sundeen, also of Palo Alto, were guests recently at the home of Mr. and Mrs. V.F. Vieira.Mrs. Warren Richey, Paul Stephens, Sr., and Frank Nissen have been ill with severe colds.Mrs. Edward McCloud and Mrs. Manly Ransom of Willows, Mr. and Mrs. Don Keller of Richmond, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Rickter of Rio Dell were Memorial day guests of Mrs. Eugenia D. Woods.Miss Alice Marsh spent a few days withrelatives in Reno.The Esparto chapter of the Veterans of Foreign Wars conducted memorial services Monday at 9:30 a.m. in the Capay cemetery for deceased veterans.Mr. and Mrs. Russell Burg were recent guests of Mrs. Mary Davis. The Burgs reside in For-tuna. Burg, a retired teacher, formerly taught in Esparto high school.
