Council members are'scheduled for a workshop meeting at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow and their regular meeting at 2 p.m.Spokesmen at the meeting said that a permit would be requested for the march, but none had been applied for early today.The city continued to advise residents to take their own garbage to dump sites off Carbon plant Road on the west-s-de and to a sanitary land fill site in the 5900 block of South Staples, both of which have been used extensively by individuals the past few day’s.fn addition to the replacement of Duncan, the men are asking a number of improvements in working conditions, including a five-day, 40-hour work week at the same pay they now receive for 4-1 hours. They also want civil service status.The idle workers refused to appoint a five-member committee from its own ranks to discuss grievances with the city as requested by the council. The garbage workers said they wanted to be represented in their dispute with the city by CDMA, a group the CityCouncil said yesterday theywould not accept as spokesmen for the men.
