ORANGE BLOSSOMS.Marriage of a Prominent SocietyCouple at Galena.Special to the Dubuque Herald.Galena. 111., June ji.—A large crowd gathered at St. Mary’B Catholic church this afternoon to witness the marriage of Mr. Philip Friesenecker and Miss Gertie Kecht, a prominent Bociety couple of Galena. Innumerable blessings were showered upon them by many as they passed down the aisle to the carriage in waiting. After the ceremony the happy couple were driven to the residence of the bride’s parents on Centre hill, where a superb collation was partaken of by relatives and friends of the family. The groom and bride were the recipients of many costly presents.The groom is the eldest son of Super visor Friesenecker and it a young man of numberless friends and acquaintances. The bride is the daughter of the former business partner of (Supervisor Friesenecker and is well and favorably known in Galena and has a number of acquaintances in Dubuque. The young couple have the best wishes of their many friends, who hope their married life will be one of unalloyed happiness.
