JOHN A. MADISON, 79, Clymer, died at his home on Friday, June 1, 1973.Born in Hastings, Jan. 2, 1894, he was the son of John and Dorothy Orris Madison.He was a member of the St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church in Clymer and until his retirement had been employed by PennDOT,Surviving are his widow, Susanna Korman Madison; two sons: J. William, Clymer, and Edward, Toledo; two daughters: Mrs. Joseph (Regina) Sto-yek, DuBois, and Mrs. Edward (Ethel) Rohrer, Bethesda, Md., and 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by a son, Gerald, in 1972.Friends will be received at the Bence Funeral Home in Clymer from 7-9 p.m. tonight and 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday where the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at St. Anthony’s Church in Clymer at 9:30 a.m. Monday with Rev. Bernard Borgogno celebrant. Interment will be in the St. Bernard’s Cemetery in Hastings.
