Immediately after the noon hour people from the surrounding country began to pour in, and by the time the procession moved the streets were crowded.There were an unusually large number of veterans of the G. A. K. in line. Many gray-haired men, with wounded legs or arms, and some of them with both, were in the ranks. The martial spirit of the present time seemingly aroused in them the dashing spirit of patriotism which actuated their course from ’Ml to ’06. The patri-archical appearance of many of the old veterans inspired the reverential homage of the spectators.Arrived at the cemetery, the veterans divided into the several squads, and, in charge of their respective captains, decorated the graves of the soldiers by detail as published in our last issue.The exercises then took place at the stand erected for the purpose, iu accordance with the programme printed in our last issue, Capt. I. A. Lamb being in charge. The exercises were beautiful and impressive.The address of Rev. C. L.
