DEDICATION OF ANEW SEMINARY: Archbishop Farley dedicated Tues-Iday morning the new $1To,u00 theological training school at Callicoon, Sullivan county, which will be known as St. Joseph's Seraphic College. It has been erected by the Franciscan Fathers of the Province of the Holy Name of Jesus. The exercises began at half-past nine o’clock.Archbishop Diomede Falcoaio, or] i Washington, apostolic delegate to the1 i United States, celebrated t.he solemn pontifical mass in the chapel, which is in the centre of the college. 31 gr. Henry A. Brann, pastor of St. Agnes' Church, New York, preached the dedication sermon, his subject being St j Francis of Assisi. Tlie Very Rev. j i Benedict Smith, of St. Louis; the.Very Rev. Eugene Butterman, of Cin-clnatti. and the Very Rev. UbalduuftRandolph, of Boston, were present specially for the dedication.The college is on a high hill overlooking the Delaware. It is a four j story brick building, with a blue stone front. The architects are Wakemanj J and Miller. On the first floor are of- •I flees, tlinmg room and kitchen; on I iho second floor are a library, priests’! infirmary, assembly hall and class'ftrooms. In the basement there are •i; workshops, gymnasiums, storage and the heating plant. The other floors are used for living quarters.
