May 81.—Mrs.Mary Stockton Schoonmaker, whosefather, the late Rev. Dr. Joseph Stockton,was the first Presbyterian clergyman westof the Alleghanies, died to-day at the home of her daughter, Mrs. F. H. Andrews in her ninety-first year. She was the widow of James Schoonmaker of Pittsburg, and at the recent centennial celebration in that city was the guest of honor as the oldest native-born resident.Four sons survive her—Col. J. M. Schoonmaker of Pittsburg, George B F. \\., and S. L. Schoonmaker, all of New York, and three daughters-Mrs. James J- Brown ot Asheville. N. C.. Mrs. L.
