AnniversaryMr. and Mrs. Dawson RidllngRidlingMr. and Mrs. Dawson Ridling of Melrose, will celebrate their 50th anniversary on Aug. 7, 1988.The couple were married on April 20, 1938, in Melrose. He was a long time school bus contractor for the Melrose schools.They have three children, Carolyn and Arthur Smith of Chicago, 111., Molly and Gary Hacker of Fort Worth, Texas, and Cassie and Jimmy Ridling, Clovis. They also have four grandchildren.Mr. and Mrs. Ridling will celebrate with a reception in their honor, hosted by children on Aug. 7, 1988. from 2 to 4 p.m. at Melrose Baptist Church. The couple request no gifts.
