Spangler, Ernest Haines,I Eugene Buhrman and Herbert Ben-’son were among others to treat the | boys during their stay at camp. J I The following honors were be- J stowed on several of the boys as the 1 -result of an election. Best camper, |! | Ralph Shearer; best swimmer, Elmo j Boone; best diver, Albert Martz, best sport, Ralph Flory; neatest boy, Robert Durst; best worker, EdFlorence; most popular (tie), Era- !est Haines, Ralph Shearer Two rattlesnakes were caught during the camping period. One I snake with 14 rattles was caught by 1 * John Newman. Lewis Durst caught *•, the other rattler, which had seven :, rattles. JV «Four copperhead snakes weretrapped. Ralph Shearer caughtthree copperheads and a blacksnake The snakes were skinnedand the hides dried. Some of theboys brought them home for souvenirsD M Wertz had a largfe truck at camp yesterday morning and transported the camp equipment and I baggage of the boys back to Waynesboro. rThe camp* is now closed for the regular camping.
