CAKE WALK AND PEANUT GRAB.A contest that makes much fun Is the cake walk and peanut grab. Before beginning this, pass favors in the shape of small torpedoes. In which, after exploding, a cap and Jingle are found. The caps are »ow out on and partners aro determined bv corres ponding numbers on the torpedoes Now let some one play a lively march while the Judges take their places behind a small table, cn which is a huge bowl of peanuts. As the couples dance by for the last time a grab Is made with the left hand and the peanuts taken are put Into dainty handbags made from Japanese paper napkins. For the one mak’ng the roost extensive grab there should be some simple prize, as also for the couple adjudged to be the best walkers.After a rest, while the pemuts are being disposed of. ask each one to do his or her special “stunt. or turn, and the one who does best Is 'o be given a prize. This specialty may be a song, recitation, a lig a story or riddle.—New York Herald.
