Mr., mrs.Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Slider of RD 1, Oidtown,were honored recently on their 50th wedding anniversary at a party given by their children at the North Branch Fire Hall.The couple were married May 1, 1928, at Maysville, W.Va. Their attendants were Alberta and Bradye Dolly.They are the parents of two children, Jerald L. Slider of Oidtown and Mrs. Thornton Robinette of RD 4, Cumberland. They are the grandparents of five grandsons.Mr. Slider is a retired Kelly-Springfield Tire Company employee and Mrs. Slider is a housewife.A picture collection, “Over the Years,” was arranged and a money tree was given the couple. Over 100 guests attended.A party also was given the couple recently at their home in Bradenton, Fla.
