BIRTHDAYS CELEBRATEDMonday afternoon, July 26. neighborhood children gathered at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John T. Hale to help celebrate the 4th birthday of their twin granddaughters, Nancy and Susan Garrett, and also that of Cynthia Sue Saage whose anniversary was JulyI i.The young folks were entertained in the attractive gardens where they enjoyed the swings and out of door toys during the hours. They were invited into the dining room for refreshments of icecream and cake.The feature table attraction was a pretty birthday cake holding four candles each for Susan and Nancy, and eleven for Cynthia Sue. Gay hued balloons hung from the chandelier over the table, and tiny doll favors marked each plate in addition to balloon favors.Those present were, Jerryianne Fuller, Patsy Wood, Judy Lumpkins, Eleanor Ann Newton, Mary Richards, Judith Wilson, Wilma Tuma, and Mrs. W. F. Saage.
