E.T.Mr. and Mrs. K. T. Griffin arebeing honored with an open house from .'L.IO to a:'M) p.m. Sunday at their home, 2001 8th St. in celebration of their goldenwedding anniversary.Hosts and hostesses are theirsix children, Mrs. J. W. Tucker, Seguin; Mrs. Thedis Wood, Slephonville: Mrs. Kverett Lam-heri, Mules hoe; Clyde Grilfin fr an Palo Alio. Calif., and It. C.Griffin and Dad Griffin.Also assisting are the couple's 21 grandchildren.Miss Annie Jane Summers and Griffin were married at Waco on July 28, 1918, and moved to Clyde, where they we it engagedin farming.In 1949, they moved t o 0 Brien. and went into the laundry and ice business. They moved to Lubbock five years ago, and have been active in church work at Vamlelia Village Church of Christ and now- at Pioneer Park Church of Chi ist.
