Mark 50 Years Together*Mr. and Mrs. -Lewi? A. Bain Sr. of North Humphrey ave., recently celebrated 50 years of marriage at the home of their daughter, Mrs. Earl C. Bodine in Northbrook, with 85 guests present to congratulate the couple on this very special day. The Bains have lived in Oak Park for 45 years and had children in the Beye school for 20 consecutive years. They are the parents of Lewis A. Jr. pf Greensboro, N.C.; Bruce of Canoga Park, Calif ,• Richard of Glen Ellyn and Mrs. Bodine. There are *15 grandchildren.Mr. Bain was an industrialplumbing contractor for 47 years, retiring: in 1955«\He received his master plumbers certificate from tile New York School of Trades and, joined his father’s company which had been established in 1880. He is a 50-year-plus member of the Masonic lodge, 540, past president of the High Twelve club, past president of West Central Ki-wanis club of Chicago and an active member of the Chicago Master Plumbers%association for more than 50ryears. .Mrs, Bain is a graduate of Morton high school and of Barrett Institute. She has been^a member of the Infant Welfare, Circle 20, for 25 years.The couple is active inthe Cuyler Avenue Methodist church where they have been members for 43 years.
