IMaude GorhamIMaude Gorham. 89. former Garden City resident, died last night at Hays following a long illness.Bom Jan. 7, 1880, she taught school at Holcomb and Garden | City during the 1920’s. She was principal at Holcomb from the time of its consolidation until 1927. After teaching at Garden City, she moved to Hoi-! comb, then to Hays, where she became a faculty member at: Fort Hays Kansas State College. She was retired for a number of years. !She was a member of the Hays First Baptist Church. Survivors include two nephews in Garden City, Merrill W. Dailey. 1107 N. 11th, and Frank L. Dailey, 914 Evans.Funeral will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Hays First Baptist Church.
