Bureau to Open Office in IdahoWASHINGTON (AP) - The Bureau of Reclamation todayannounced it will open an office, at St. Anthony, Idaho, to manage construction of the $51 million Lower Telon Project.Commissioner of Reclamation Ftoyd E. Dominy said the office probably wilt be opened in late August, and will have an office staff of about 110 employes by 1970.Funds for the Teton Dam and Reservoir haven1! yet been appropriated by Congress,Lower Teton is an irrigationand hydroelectric power project oo the Teton River which was authorized in 1964. It wilt take 10 years to complete.Dominy said the reservoir, • when finished, will irrigate 265,* 000 acres near the confluence of: Henry's Fork River and the Teton, both tributaries of the Snake River.The bureau bead said the power complex will be built first, followed by the Irrigation system.
