Nunn, 122 Westwood Drive, Beckley, called to fill the pastorate.THE MKST services arescheduled to be held in the basement on Aug. l. The basement is nearing completion andwill be used for worship services until the main sanctuary is completed.On March 12. about 15 White Oak area residents met in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Z. E. Boyd to lay plans for organizing a Baptist Church there. The church was realized on March!19 and was named the White Oak First Missionary Baptist Church. The church is planning to affiliate with the RaleighBaptist Association.ON !M MICH 21, the group purchased two lots from Home seekers Land and Building Co. for $665 and groundbreakingceremonies were held on May5.Since then, many hours of volunteer labor have been spent on the construction of the edi lice. Several dollars have alsobeen as free will donations to ward the building fund.MR. NUNN pastored the Daniels Missionary Baptist Church for eight years and the Sullivan Missionary Baptst Church for six months. He was instrumen-j tal in the building of the Dan- iels Church and has done extensive supply work. He also served as assistant pastor of the First Baptist Church of Brad-jlcy-Mr. and Mrs. Nunn are the parents of three children.
