Mr. and Mrs. J. N.Bloss to Observe50th AnniversaryuMr. and Mrs. Joseph N. Bloss, 713 Elm street, will quietly observe their golden wedding anniversary, Wednesday, July 30.Miss Minnie Kohlman, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Kohlman, and Mr. Bloss were mar- j ried at a nuptial mass at the St. Columban Catholic church July 30, 1908, at 6 o'clock in the morning. The Rev. Pr. Valerius Kellistperformed the wedding ceremony.Miss Margaret King was bridesmaid and Earl Cox was the best man for the bridegroom. Both are deceased.With the exception of three years spent in Iron Mountain, Mich., Mr. and Mrs. Bloss have spenttheir entire married life in Chil-licothe. Mr. Bloss is the son ofthe late Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Bloss. He retired from 39 years service with the Milwaukee railroad in 1956. At the time of his retirement, he held the position of cashier and clerk in the freightoffice.Mr. and Mrs. Bloss are the parents of two children, Mrs. JackWright of this city and a son, Joseph, who died in 1933 while in the armed service and stationedat Fort Leavenworth, Kan. They have three grandchildren, Larry Stobbs, Terry Stobbs and Mrs. PaulChurchill, and three great-granddaughters, Joslyn, Cynthia, andLeslie Churchill and a great-grandson, Paul Scott Churchill, children of Mr. and Mrs. Churchill.No special celebration is planned for the anniversary on account of Mrs. Bloss’ health.
