Coupl* HonoredOn Silver Wedding. A surprise9* the home of Mr- and Mrs, Prank Ashton, Wednesday evening, July 18, In celebration of their Silver Wedding Anniversary,The bride and grooifc were escorted to their places by Mrs. Douglas Robins and Mrs. Reginald Robins. The chairs were decorated with colored streamers and wedding bells. Mrs. Ashton was presented with a corsage of roses and Mr. Ashton, a button hole carnation.The table was centred with a thrge tiered wedding cake and decorated with a bride and groom ornament on top. The address was read by Mr, J. A. McKenzie, to which Mr. Ashton made a fitting reply.Mrs. Nevill Stephenson presented the couple with a. Tri-Light Lamp on behalf of their many frienda and neighbors.Mrs. Randall Robins was in. charge of the guest book, in which, 80 guests signed their names. The adies served a dainty lunch at th close of the evening.
