Patterson were married June 16, 1935 in the rural home of Ins mother. Mrs. Minne L. Patterson ol Liberal. It was a double wedding in which his sister, Vera, married Raymond Watson.Since their marriage, the Pattersons have lived in Garden City,* rwhere he owns and operates Patterson Jewelry, Inc.Hosts for the family reunion were Mr. and Mrs. Gene Grove of Beaver, Okla., and Mr. and Mrs. O.M. Patterson Those attending were direct descendants ot John Ferguson Patterson, who came to America from Ireland with his family in 1839 at thewage ot four.A luncheon on the terrace Saturday noon started festivities with thetheme of “Color Mv World.* Movies*and slides of previous family events were shown in the library during the afternoon. Saturday evening, Lillie Patterson-Grove presented a family historv in storv form. She and Pauline Patterson then presented a memorial tribute.Dinner Saturday evening in the fountain area carried a western theme. Sunday brunch was served on the terrace with the theme, “Reach Out and Touch. About 40 family members attended.A wedding anniversary reception at the Patterson home climaxed the two-day event. Hosts for the party were C. Richard and Robert, who are associated with the family business in Garden City, and Paulasue Patterson-Sawyers of Denver and their two granddaughters, Traci Sawyers and Somer Lee Patterson.Officiating at the reception table were Florence Beese-Patterson, Myrtle Brock-Patterson and Florence Weden-Patterson.DrusselArthur and Opal Drussel willcelebrate their 25th anniversarywith an open house from 2 to 4 p m.on Sunday at the fireside room of the•Nazarene ChurchHosts will be their children — Margaret Crowley, Richard.
