85 AND COUNTING. Happy birthday to J. Hd$ard Hayes Sr. of 1310 Park St, Past Grand Knight of Council 191, Knights of Co-lurrlbus, lifetime North Side resident and one of the jypungest octogenarians we know. He is celebrating his 85th natal day today.We-won't go into the Howard Hayes history because we did it all a year ago when eightmates in the 1913 graduating class of Chris-tiaigBfeothers Academy (attorneys T. Frank Dolan and John W. Bailey). feted him at a luncheon at the Scoreboard restaurant on his 84th'birthday.We will mention, however, that Howard is a longtime and active member of Pastime Ath-letic Ciub, can be found daily working at the Council 191 offices in North Clinton Street,4annually attends the Super Bowl pro football classics and many other sports and fraternalaffairs and generally acts like a 50-year-old. He. worked for 31 years as a traveling salesman for the Neal Hyde wholesale drygoods company and later as sales manager and vice president He also operated his own business when Nea? Hvde ceased ooerations.There undoubtedly will be a family party scheduled and helping blow out the candles will be his son, J.
