High School graduating class of 1912. Prior to gathering for dinner at Holiday Inn. the group met at the home of Rohcrt B. Murchie, class president. In making the arrangements, Murchie quipped that as class head, “I’ve had the longest tenure of any president, haven’t been replacedin 60 years.” Seated left toright are Mary Marvin Hin-man of Manton, Vera Gregory Teare of Flint, Bernice F. Moore of Traverse City and Lucy Ashmore, also of Traverse City. Standing from left, are Ralph H. Cook of Royai Oak, Margie McFarren Lav-ens of Detroit, Tony E. Amts-buechler of Dallas, Mildred Zimmerman of Traverse City, and Robert B. Murchie. Frank Pwrvis, (whose mother, the late Blanche Wright, was a member of the class) was speaker at the gathering. Nine of the 18 classmates contacted could not come, among whom was Helen Smith Peterson of nearby Frankfort.
