Oakridge Couple Observes Silver Wedding AnniversaryHancock, Wt§*~Mr, and Mrs.William Button of Oak ridge celebrated their twenty-fifth weddinganniversary at their home on Sun* day, July 19. Forty-eight guests were present, friends and relatives of the couple bringing the picnic dinner which was served cafeteriaMarried July 15, 1911 51 r. and Mrs. Button were married July 15, 1911 at the Methodist parsonage in Hancock by the Rev. Mr. Moats, Their children were all home for the silver wedding celebration, including Iva Mae, Leon and Franklin, at home; William jr. of the Pcrkinstown CCC camp, and \Mr. and Mrs. Roy Mattox anddaughter of Big Hat a. 4 tltj51 rs. Lydia Duncan of Wisconsin Rapids, who attended with her sonand daughter-in-law, Mr. and 51 rs Fred Duncan, was the oldest guest present, being IS years of age. She is Mr. Button's aunt.Others who participated in the happy event were Mr. and Mrs. Ray Lovell and children, Pansy, Alma, Erma, Garth and Gordon, of Nekoo-sa; 51 r. and Mrs. Guy Peevy of Rhinelander; Mr. and 51 rs. Lyman Miller and son, Bernard, 51rs. Ward Rathermel and children, Richard and Donna Mae, Mr. and Mrs. William Carothers and children, Norma, Betty, Roland and Allen, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Squires and children, Harvey and Alice, all of Hancock; Mr. and 51 rs. William Nelson of South Hancock; Mr. and Mrs. Gene Delap and children, Marie and Dorothy, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Delap and baby of New Lisbon.
