Accident claims livesBadger at about 12:30 a.m.A two-car collision north of Badger claimed the lives of two Humboldt teens early Saturday morning.Angela Cirks and Jason Powell* both 18, were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident by the Webster County Medical Examiner.Three others were injured in the accident. Paul Stockfleth, 20, Humboldt, was flown from Trinity Regional Hospital to University Hospitals in Iowa City where he was in serious condition.Michael Wiuff, 18, Humboldt, suffered multiple injuries as did Ahem Craven, 17, Badger. Both were taken to Trinity Regional.The Iowa State Patrol said the accident happened at an uncontrolled gravel road intersection one mile north and one mile east ofSaturday.Wiuff, driving a 1983 Toyota, was eastbound on the gravel. Craven was northbound in a 1987 Toyota pickup. Wiuffs vehicle was struck in the passenger side by Craven's vehicle sending both vehicles , into the northeast comer of the intersection.Cirks, Powell and Stockfleth were passengers in the Wiuff vehicle. Cirks was ejected.The accident is still under investigation. Assisting the Iowa Highway Patrol were: the Webster CountySheriffs Department; Badger Fire Department, Vincent and Trinity ambulance services.Funeral services for Cirks and Powell were held in Humboldt Tuesday.
