Stanley Arthurdies SaturdayCOLUMBUS JUNCTION - Stanley Arthur, 72, farmer and life - long resident of the Cotter Community, died Saturday, July 21, 1973. at Mercy Hospital in IowaCity.The funeral will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Cotter United Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Burl Richards in charge. Burial will be in Cambrian Cemetery. The body will be at the Stacy - Lewis Funeral Home in Columbus Junction until Tuesday morning when it will be taken to the church to lie in state until time of the service,Mr. Arthur was born July 11, 1900, in rural Columbus Junction. He was a son of John and Anna Peters Arthur On Sept. 27, 1939, he married Margaret Faris who died Dec. 27,1963Surviving is a sister, Mrs. William (Grace) Williams of Crawfordsville, and a number of nieces and nephews.
