Lamott is pastor of the parish.In addition to the 12 classrooms the building will contain a principal’s office, a health room, and a lounge and kitchenette for the Sisters of Mercy who will conduct the classes. A students* cafetwia and kitchen will occupy the full basement. Property for the new building has been held by the parish since its founding in 1927.A six-room frame structure that has been in use since 1929 will continue to serve the pupils of the school until the completion of the new building. The number of pupils enrolled for the term that ended in June was 226; an estimated 265 children will be in attendance during the 1948-49 session. Our Lady of Lourdes parish serves an area of Cincinnati’s Western Hills section that has grown rapidly in the past 20 years.Fir«t Unit •§ New PlantThe 12-classroom project that is now being constructed is but one section of a contemplated plant that will, as the growth of the pariah demands, contain additional classrooms and an auditorium.Maguolo and Quick, architects, report that all equipment and appointments in the new school will be modern. Each classroom will be equipped for visual aid; ceilings of the classrooms and the corridors will be of acoustical tile. An intercommunication and radio system will link all rooms and the cafeteria.Plan Plaque In Honor ofReligiousDayton.—A bronze plaque, on which will be inscribed the names of the 32 members of the parish who have dedicated their lives to religion, will be dedicated by Corpus Christ! parish, Sunday, Aug. 15, Feast of the Assumption, Father Harry J. Ans-bury, pastor, announces.The dedicatory ceremonies, including the unveiling of the memorial, will take place at 4 p.m. The plaque will hang in the rear of the church.The 37-year-old pariah has given a total of 32 young men and women to the religioue life, including 11 priests, one brother, and 20 sisters.In addition to these former parishioners serving in religious life there are eight girls in novitiates and nine hoys in seminaries.The plaque will have 40 blank spaces for the names of those who will qualify for this roll of honor in future years.The parish has given one priest and one brother to the Society of Mery; two brothers of the parish have been ordained for the Holy (Turn to Pago S — Column J)
