Perry Asbabranner, 21 yeara of ag»( a eon of David Asbabranner, who Hvtd on tbe Slate Run road, a abort distance east of Beharrel avenue, was electrocuted Sunday afternoon. Both bands were burned badly and the first finger and tbethumb of (he left hand were burned offat tbe first joint from picking up a live wire. The other fingers on both* hands were almost sever. The electricity passed down his back and bis left leg to the foot, burning the fleeh tb* same as a lightning bolt. Hia clothing was also badly burned. Unable to releaae hia hold, the young man struggled with tbe w ire for a period of two minutes. Glover Emery, son of 01 lie Emery, who lives on Beharrel avenue at the point where tbe accident occurred, witnessed tbe scci* dent from a window of hia home. He said that young Asbabranner waa past* iog along tbe street with two or three small boys, when he apied tbe wire in tbe street and attempted to remove it. Asbabranner had lived in tbe vicinity of New Albany ail of bia life. He was a member of tbs Manssnita Tribe of Bed Men. Coroner Briscoe wae summoned and viewed tbe body, after which it was removed to tbe undertaking establishment of Lottich Bros., East Fourth and Spring streets, to be prepared for burial.
