Special Correspondence of the: Democrat.West Hendricks, Tp., July 22,1890.Mrs. Wright, the dress maker of Bengal, has moved to Franklin.Herbert Nail, of Shelbyville, was visiting friends in Bengal last San* day.McCain, Birely Richmond are doing a great business with their saw mill.Allen Tucker will build a fine residence in the Bpring on his farm north of Bengal.Theodore Lather will soon move onto the farm owned by John C. Cheney, of Shelbyville.The wheat crop is very light and the quality poor. Many of the farmers are through threshing.Squire Thurston, of Bengal, Is giving perfect satisfaction to those who have had business in his court.Wm. Bass and Douglas Moore have began business in Bengal in the store room lately vacated by Mr. Kincaid.The bet of Mrs. Laura Ross and Mrs. Manda McCain was won by Mrs. Ross. There is one day difference in their ages.James Philipy was seengiu the neighborhood of Bengal, Sunday evening. James says the folks were all glad to see him, even to little Fred.*Mr. James Duckworth, of Cincinnati, made a Hying visit among his friends in this township last Monday.
