r project.5 - Celebrated 50th AnniversaryMr. and Mrs. Nick Hongisto, Jackson Location, commemorated their • 50th wedding anniversary Sunday 3 afternoon, July 4 with an open ■ house at their home. About 3001 guests greeted the couple.' The former Alma Ronn was married to Nick Hongisto at the bride’s home in Wakefield July 1, 1915. ’ The attendants were the late Mrs. ’ Hulda Ronn Keski, sister of Mrs. J Hongisto and the late Jacob Hongisto, cousin of Nick Hongisto. Mr. Hongisto, now retired was a former miner at the various mines in the area. They have lived in Wakefield since their marriage and both are ’ in good health.They have eight children, Mrs. Wayne Jarvela, Mrs. William Ko-ski, Mrs. Elmer Hill and Mrs. William Liuha, Wakefield, Arnold, Kenosha; Norman, Sullivan, Mo.;1 Richard, Wakefield and Robert, Al-i gonquin, 111. There are 25 grander children and five great-grandchild-- ren.
