Stein, head of the j Oklahoma City office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, said that federal agents would begin an investigation in Grady and Caddo counties near Verden for persons thought to have housed or otherwise aided the convicts. Stein said a Dyer act charge was filed last week against Traxler to permit the government to file fedral harboring charges against persons aiding the fugitives.State and local officers were aiding the government men in m search for the person from whom Traxler obtained a narcotic which he admitted having had after hospital attendants found a hypodermic needle on his person yesterday.Traxler said he and Tindol used the narcotic to overcome fatigue, but denied he was an habitual narcotic user.Texas highway patrolman aided in standing guard over Traxler. They said he might be well enough to return to prison, should he be extradited, in about a week.
