Mr. and Mrs. Joel LawsonCENTER — Joel and Sally Lawson of Center celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, July 13 with a reception at First Baptist Church in Center.The celebration hosts were their children, Randy Lawson, Pam Lawson, Harold Lawson, Melvin and Mark Lawson, all of Groves.Sally Windham and Joel H. Lawson were married on July 12, 1946 in Center, Texas.Mr. Lawson is the owner of Lawson Equipment Rental and Mrs. Lawson is a housewife.The couple have 12 grandchildren.
