A SOCIAL FUNCTION.Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Twigg Celebrated S'lver Weddmg.On Saturday evening. July 16. a mosr pleasant social event took place at Glcnrose Farm, the beautiful home of Mr. an.i Mrs. A. D. Twigg The occasion was in celebration of Mr. and Mrs. Twiggs silver wedding.Mr. Twigg first met his wife, who was formerly Miss Nannie Burdtne, of Nicholasvtlle, Kentucky, while attending college in Ixxlngton, Kentucky.After their marriage they came to Twiggtown, where they have resided ever since. The union has been blessed with six children, four sons and two daughters, all living with the exception of one daughter, they being as lollows: Miss Lillian H., Messrs.Carl C\, Homer L.. la-ster A. and Austin D., Jr.One pleasant feature of the occasion was a faunly reunion of Mr. Twiggs brothers and sisters, which was a source of much joy to his mother, w ho la eight seven years of age. the mother of ton children, alt living, and grandmother of more thuti a hundred children.
