Ford City, Jalv 20 —The local police were called to Palntertowtf one r* the suburbs located on the hill overlooking this place, last evening as the result of a sensation which is leported to have stirred that little town fion its center to its circumference.Arriving there thpy too»; into custody William Flanders and Mrs Har ry dray well known residents of Paint erto'.vn, on complain' made bv Mrs Flanders and brought them to the lctkup here, hater th *v furnished hail for their appearance at a heating to be held a week hente.According to the information alleged to have been furnished the authorities Mrs Flanders has suspected for some time that her husband was calling on Mrs.Gray during the absence of the latter’s husband at wok. Last evening, after Mr. Flanders left home, a neigh lx»r lady at the tmtanec of Mrs. Flan-drrs, dropped In unexpectedly at Mrs.Grav’s, ostensibly to use the telephone. She ft nud Mr Flanders there and reported that fact to Mru f landers. who immediately repaired to the Otay residence and confronted Mrs. Gray and her husband Mrs. Panderslocked the door of the room and Inthe struggle which took pi ice between Mrs. Gray and herself, hair was pullpd and the twe women mauled one another te a vigorous fashion.Repeated tails were sen* to the Ford C'ity police, who because tf thefact that the set no of the excitementwns otitiide the borough limits, were a micwhat reluctant to respond.
