Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Creech, 1211 North East Street.Greensburg, were honored on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary with a family cooperative dinner at the Greensburg Park Saturday.Mr. and Mrs. Creech were married July 13, 1916 in Owsley County, Kentucky by Rev. Bent Bowman. Mrs. Creech was the former Leah Hall. The couple lived in the Clarksburg area for 38 years. Upon retirement, they sold their farm for Lake Santee development and moved into Greensburg.'they are the parents of nine children, Whitley Creech, Battle Creek, Michigan, Steve Creech, Midway, Ky., Mrs. Ronald (Lillie) Shoaf, Mrs. Harold (Allie) Cox, Greensburg; Alma and Bertie Creech, Anderson and Mrs. Ray (Georgia) Coen, Shelbyville. A son Stanley Creech and a daughter Mrs. Oal (Agnes) Ring are deceased. They have 19 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
