Mr., Mrs. Herkamp Mark Anniversary' Mr. and Mrs. Fred Herkamp. life-long resident.*; of this city, and widely known throughout Seymour and vicinity, celebrated their fortieth wedding anniversary Monday at their home, 704 West Oak street, where they have lived their entire married life.A family dinner was held in the evening and later brothers and sisters of the honor guests were present for an informal party.Among the dinner guests was Miss Carrie Massman, who was an attendant at the wedding forty years ago.Mr. and Mrs. Herkamp were married in this city at the home of the bride's parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. John Mellenkamp. They are the parents of three children, the Rev. A. H. Herkamp, of Elber-feld, Indiana, Mrs. Edward Reuter and Frederick Herkamp, of Mays-ville, Kentucky. They also have seven grandchildren.Mr. Herkamp has been a foreman at the Seymour Woolen Mills for a number of years. Both are members of Immanuel Lutheran Church and are prominent in its auxiliary organizations.Guests at the Herkamp home for the anniversary were the Rev. and Mrs. A. H. Herkamp, daughter, Norma Jean, and son, Allen Arthur, of Elberfeld; Mr. and Mrs Edward Reuter and children, David, Paul and Ruth Evelyn, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Herkamp and daughter, Louise, of Cortland; Mr. and Mrs. Edward Mellenkamp, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Mellenkamp. and son, Donnie Gene, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Stabb and daughter, Geneva, Mrs. Harry Emhuff, Miss Carrie Massman and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Redicker. d)-
