MORE MINERS STRIKE.Over 1500 Men Now Out In the Fourth Pool.California, July 13.—All the river miner* in ihl* part of the Fourth pool are out on a Mtrike and will remain out till after the meeting of the delegate convention which w ill be held In Monongahela City next week. Vigilant mines of the California Coal Co., the Fidelity Coal Co.’* mine* and the two Stockdale mine* are shutdown tight. Report* from Roacoe state that Snow Hill, Little Alp* and Little Squaw have also closed down. The situation at Fayette City is about the same as reported yesterday, the 1000 men remaining firm and willing to abide by the decision of the convention next week. There are about 1500 men out in the Fourth pool. The railroad mine* are all running. The principal cause of the strike is that the operator* are not anxious to have any more coal mined because the river is so low it cannot be shipped. There are million* of bushels lying in the Pittsburg harbor and along the pools which cannot be shipped. The operators have thousands of dollars in paper due soon and they are obliged to make some sale* to meet their obligations. So long as l hi* condition of affairs exists the operators will not pay out anv more wages. The river operators claim their miners should work for the same wages the raiiroad miner* receive which i* 42 cents a ton. It is possible that very Vlittle work will be done until the coal is shipped out of the pools and the Pittsburg harbor.many say, “B ForCwoodby an cCrow 1perienseat ohittirifthreegameto leaceivelt;relievof ti:teurs8terlthirdCAF.
