They rode to their reception, at the Pom-pey Rod and Gun Club, on a motorcycle, followed by 10 other motorcycles carrying members of the wedding party and other friends.The scene outside the church immediately after the ceremony appeared typical — smiling women were flinging rice, countless cameras were clicking pictures. But, across from the site of the wedding, 11 Harley-Davidson motorcycles were parked.The bride and groom emerged from the church.The groom donned his gloves and mounted his machine.The bride fixed her helmet, hoisted her dress and sat behind her husband.Friends of the couple followed suit and mounted their motorcycles.On the bride's helmet was pasted a long, pink ribbon.The strains of Mendelssohn and the peais of bells were nowhere to be heard. Instead, the straining of engines and the peeling of rubber echoed through the village.Mrs. Gary Cathers of Florida. The groom is the son of Mrs. Gertrude Keller of South Carolina.
