Whitelaw, celebrated their golden wedding anniversary with a church service at St. Ann Catholic Church, Francis Creek, and an open house at their home for friends and relatives, Sunday.The couple was married June24, 1919, at Assumption Catholic Church, Pulaski.Mrs. Pekarske was born [Agnes Rybicke, daughter of the : late Mrs. Rose Rybicke in 1899 I at Pulaski. She later moved | to Manitowoc were she metPekarske who was born m 1898 in Chicago, son of the late John and Mary Bonin Pekarske.; Mr. and Mrs. Pekarske owned ;and operated a grocery store ,at S. 24th and Washington St., 'Manitowoc, from 1924 to 1931 and in 1932 they moved to Kossuth where they own a farm. Pekarske was also employed by I the M a n i t o w o c Shipbuilding ‘inc.1 They have three children, a son. Eugene, of Riverside. Calif., and two daughters, Mrs. John Dugan, Clarks Mills, and Mrs. Leon Mechn who resides • at the Pekarske homestead. I They also have 10 grandchildren, j Mrs. Pekarske is a member | of the Altar Society at St. i Augustine Catholic Church, jRcifs Mills.
