The couple was attended by Mr. and Mrs. Howard George of Omaha, formerly of Laurens.The bride is well known here, having been manager of Hurley’s Beauty parlor for the last three years. J3he finished high school in Laurens with the class of 1935 and then attended Madame Kennedy’s Beauty school in Des Moines. She worked in Mason City one year before returning to Laurens.Mr. Ackland was graduated from high school here in 1930 and has been employed at the M. J. R. Hakes warehouse.
