Hanson Funeral At VaderVadeT, July 15.—Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at two o'clock from the Grace Evangelical church for Lloyd Hanson, on what would have been his twentieth birthday, Rev. Ervin Krebs of St. Paul’s Lutheran church at Castle Rock conducted the services. Miss Dorothy Becker of Olympia, a cousin of Lloyd's, Bang two beautiful solos, “Whispering Hope” and “Somewhere’.' Active pall bearers were Robert E. Campbell. Seth Perrier, George Klein, George Bachman, Frank Guim of Tacoma and Foyle Howard of the U. S. S. Merlin, former Vader schoolmates and friends.Honorary all bearers were members of his graduating class and Castle Rock friends. They wvere Floyd Remanschneider, De« Chambers, Gerald Estes, Clair© Austin, Howard Churchill and Donald Qaife. The profusion of lovely flowers testified, to the esteem in which he was held by his many friends. Burial was in the Little Falls cemetery at Vader.Lloyd was born July 9, 1911, at Vader. He attended 'school here’ until Ms family moved to Castle Rock three years ago. Pie entered high school there, graduating with the class of 1930, His plans were to continue his education this year at Port-: land, taking up the study of aviation mechanics. His death occurred Sat-. urday evening July Fourth, when the 1 car in which he was riding with his cousin was struck by another car. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hanson; a sister, Mrs. Oliver Lundy, all of Castle Rock; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Becker of Vader and Mrs. Elsie Hanson of Castle Rock and many other relatives and friends, who mourn hisuntimely death.
